The full bundle of A&P courses is on sale.  I really like the King videos and thought I could learn something from this.  Any reviews?

Very worthwhile if you are going to take the A&P written tests.  Marginal benefits if you are just trying to learn about your Mooney.

Your best return on your time and money is to do owner assisted annuals and help your IA work on other airplanes in exchange for the education.

Another thing that should change for Part 93 owners.

A short and sweet 2 or 3 day class along with doing at least 2 owner assisted annuals and then the owner should be able to legally do any work that involves replacing parts (starter, alternators, fuel pumps, vacuum pumps essentially bolt on parts) or minor alterations and sign them off himself.

Annuals and major alterations would still need IA.

Some would take advantage of this some would not feel comfortable replacing a missing screw on the cowling.

I was going to take the 15 day LSRM training before getting the mooney. This would allow me to work on elsa slsa and sign off on condition inspections. It's a fast class designed for people who know a thing or two already so I thought this course plus experience working on my Mooney and helping with the annual would help prepare me for the LSRM course.
