Raptor05121 Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Its popping over on the AOPA Facebook group. One local pilot said he watched the takeoff and it was loud. He is suspecting a runaway prop or something wrong with the governor. Fly along the coast at 6000 feet on flight following. Just don't fly at 2k over the hood. Afraid someone will ding your 530? Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Eye witnesses are notoriously unreliable. The engine data logging system should have recorded all engine parameters. It should not take long to find the cause. Clarence Quote
