For the handle, take it off and file it clean, then use some matching plastic paint. I did it on my C and it looked nice. I have no suggestions for the door panel.

Bruce Jaeger has various options for interior refinishing including finishing the door trim with his Spatial Interior stuff.

I replaced the original strap with an aluminum bracket I made. Much easier to close and open the door now.
