Can't make a post with Firefox!

I get the following error message in red:

Oops! You forgot to type a message for your new post.

 

This happens when replying, or trying to make a new post, and unfortunately my typing disappears from the window!  I just lost 15 minutes of typing...  grrr.

Scott.  Do your writing on a document you can save on your computer, then copy and  paste your post to MooneySpace.  This has happened to me previously and yes, it is most frustrating.

I have firefox also and cannot find out how to start a new topic

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the forum (where it lists the individual threads) and you'll find the "new topic" button on the left.  Not too easy to see.

I've never had a problem posting from Firefox. But I just got an iPad, and can't post using it--the keyboard just won't come up.

For you ipad you can type it in the notes and cut and paste

I am looking into both issues now.  The iPad is a little trickier...the ipad browser is not very feature rich and hence does not allow for things like the fancy editor we use for posting.  I will likely just have to swap in a textbox for plaintext only.
