I have only been on this site for about a week, but haven't been this excited about my Mooney ownership since I bought it.  I've been building another plane and was so focused on it that the Mooney just became a tool for travel rather than a source of pride.  Doing my annual this year, I got pretty fussy expecting to be selling it in a couple years.  That process, getting every little thing back up to top condition, and joining this list, has got me pretty excited and proud about owning the Mooney.  Seeing pictures of PTK's plane and a few others that are pretty impressive reminded my how in love with Mooney's I am.  My wife wants me to keep the Rocket when the project is done.  Maybe I will just have to do that.

 

One of my motives for joining this list was to see where Rocket owners are getting their engines overhauled, as I am 270 hours over TBO and expect I will need to overhaul in the next several years.  Talking with my hangar partner about how great this forum is has him ready to join as well.  Hope he does and puts pictures of his beautiful "E" model in a gallery.  He has been out of medical for several years and is actually working on getting it back and getting the "E" back into "annual".

 

Oh, BTW, I sent you some support $ too.
