The 795 is easy to read at that angle. The one issue I've had is that the touch screen can be touchy in bumpy air.  It is be easy to fat finger entries and have to backspace when typing letters in to a waypoint.

Don

Don, do you have the 795 hard-wired to ship's power AND to the 430?  If not, strongly consider doing that... the 430 will automatically cross-fill the flight plan data downstream so you don't have to enter anything any longer.  I did that with my 496 and it works great.

Yeah, I have that setup with the 696 (not touch screen). Sweet.

Congratulations Don, welcome to the club.

Another Cheap Bast$&d bites the dust. It's a disease isn't it? Sort of like trying to find a cure for the zombies on the "Walking Dead".

Scott,

Yes and yes and I do love the setup.  I also have the GL39 hard wired to ship power and to 795.

Thanks,

Don
