Super Dave Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 www.planesenseavionics.com did ours last night for $250. Transponder and two altimeters: Aspen and mechanical. No repairs needed. He's out of the Eastern half of Wisconsin, but drove 130 miles to do us and a couple of other jobs in the area. 1 Quote

DrBill Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 There is a guy who travels GA, SC and NC.. He called me yesterday saying I was due... He did it last night for $260. He did 2 others on the field and one at Morganton in the morning. That's about the best deal around and I don't have to spend any avgas. BILL Quote

Cruiser Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 Chris, He does them all, although an Aspen is consider a two (or three) altimeter certification. He was careful, thorough and precise in his work, I was impressed and he is very friendly too. Quote

ryoder Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 Mine has the access panel and it cost me 335 and the tech drove out and did it while I was at work. I stopped by afterward to pay him and talk about panel upgrades. Quote
