Erik, I really enjoyed reading your post, I just bought a 305 Rocket as well, can't wait to fly it after the importation is done.

I tried the bird out, even at 5000 feet, I was at about 170 kts climbing more than 1K FPM, quite impressive after flying C172 and C23 Beachcraft sundonwer...
