+1 C of course. Canada is metric...

Yves

Well that's down right balmy!  I don't know what you are complaining about, eh?

Looks like Maple running season is about to start with all that +1 in the long range.

Bump!

Its STILL winter….snowing like heck today.  Airport just NOTAM'ed closed.  My work-flight to Princeton, NJ is in jeopardy tomorrow AM, and my plan B which is to drive today is also in jeopardy because it is just snowing to hard with freezing rain south of here to take on a 7 hour drive (in good weather).

Here are pictures of Cupid - my weather dog.  April this week…..spring?  Nope…this is the latest winter in years, but at about a month.  Solid winter since early Dec.

IFR conditions with icing in clouds here today however I was able to fly yesterday from Gatineau to Lachute and back: I had an appointment with the avionics guy to fix a minor snag with my recent installation. If anyone need any avionics work I highly recommend him and he is actually charging less than most shops around without any issues with quality. Not too many shops would agree to do some work like this on the week-ends.

My initial plan was to visit my brother who lives near the next small airport after and comeback at night however after checking NOTAMS I found out that a large area of airspace was closed due to Bombardier C series flight testing between the two airports and at the destination airport the runway lights are U/S!

So we went back home and postponed thay visit. Always check NOTAMs!

I loved that movie.  I showed it to my "Chaos and Dynamical Systems" class yesterday.  It was a big hit.  VERY funny.

And I never felt so bonded with my Canadian brethren to the North (15 mi to the North).  :-)  +1!

We had a freeze warning here in Lower Alabama this morning, and yesterday my wife said it snowed in Huntington much of the day . . . It had been 82º there on Saturday! Bring on global warming!

17 degrees yesterday am, snow this morning.  Winter is NEVER going to end!

Why do we live here again??

At least I was able to get up flying yesterday and get my IPC completed.

N201MKTurbo, soon I am going to knock at your door. As soon as possible I am moving to Arizona.

It made it to 80F on Monday - then t-storms - then snow! Then last night 18F.  This is one kooky - spring, winter, or whatever it is you want to call it!
