  1. What you have on the left side is a current style yoke mount. Interesting to see someone would go to the trouble of upgrading and only do one yoke.
  2. And he has the filled Gatorade bottles to prove it
  3. I do the same. Once I am configured for cruise, I slide the seat all the way back and enjoy being able to stretch my legs. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  4. I flew on the 6th, later in the day and noticed that it took the GTN 650 a lot longer to acquire satellites. It eventually got 3D coverage but took several minutes. I thought it was due to the jamming stuff that was going on but it may be this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  5. The guy who was doing the transition training with Mike? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. If your seats are original, it might be due to compression of the material. I had mine redone with new memory foam. Makes a big difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. You need to be human to participate in this poll. Big Foots and Yetis don’t qualify. [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. How about you PM your email and I will make sure you are aware of the next get together? Not sure why Stinky Pants hasn’t signed you up. He is usually pretty good about this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. Still a preliminary report: https://app.ntsb.gov/pdfgenerator/ReportGeneratorFile.ashx?EventID=20181209X33123&AKey=1&RType=Prelim&IType=LA What I found interesting is that the prior owner of this N number, a Piper, was involved in a fatal accident in 1964. https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/wiki.php?id=12875 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. And another tidbit I learned. At least on my vintage of Mooney, you can flip the elevator from side to side. The cutouts for the rudder hardware is on both of them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  11. And not to mention the need for calibrate airspeed, MP and RPM gauges. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  12. The thing you need to be careful with is if you had SB 208 done that making sure the back of the jacks don’t contact the silver covering of the new insulation. My jacks were installed as part of the Spatial Designs interior but they ended up making contact with the insulation. Had to insulate them. You can see them here: Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  13. And BTW, is this my wife who hacked into your account. I’ve heard this before. That reminds me, my Pig Mats are getting delivered today! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

  18. I believe there are still those 10 day courses where the instructor comes to you and you spend everyday flying. For some, this works out fine. Usually these are folks who have been flying a while and have time in the plane. It does require blocking the time off but I know that they have worked around people’s work schedule. Option? https://www.iflyifr.com/10-day-ifr-course/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  19. That’s the one I recalled! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

  24. I’ll translate it differently. If I didn’t own my planes for the 28 years I have owned her, I would have been able to retire 3 years ago. Instead, I get to hang out with you fine folks. Which has been priceless. [emoji16] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  25. Plenty of parking!? LOL! Didn’t we just have the taxiing on grass discussion? [emoji6] Oh, wait, you’re an IA. Trying to drive up business? [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
