  1. UNIT IS SOLD The SkyTrax100 uses the 978MHz datalink frequency band, which is one of two channels available to pilots in the United States airspace for ADS-B. Avidyne’s SkyTrax100 Receiver (shown above) provides Flight Information System-Broadcast (FIS-B) weather information, including NEXRAD radar, METARs,TAFs, AIRMETs, SIGMETs, Special Use Airspace (SUA), and Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs). The SkyTrax100 will also receive traffic information directly from nearby 978MHz-equipped aircraft, and indirectly through the rebroadcast of 1090MHz-equipped aircraft via 978MHz ADS-R. Traffic information from aircraft not participating in ADS-B is received from ground stations via 978MHz TIS-B transmissions (Traffic Information Service-Broadcast). Frank 760 424 2058
  2. Perfect indicator for GNS/GTN/IFD radios Compact 2-inch size saves panel space Precision replacement for older navigation indicators Ideal for applications where space is limited or as a backup for glass panel displays Rectilinear meter movements allow for more accurate readings LED backlighting provides increased reliability and longer life Built-in NAV, GPS and VLOC annunciators Rugged construction includes ball bearings in critical areas True course resolver output (1 volt, 30 Hz) Quality Mil-Spec connectors included FAA TSO certified for use with most GPS and VOR systems $1500 Frank 760 424 2058
  3. SOLD Here is the cure for the common short body GFC500, Aerocruze - blues :-) Might not have all the bells and whistles but does a fantastic job when coupled to the 430W in my M20C. If you have a working PC system the install is simple and straight forward. This is my spare system that I keep as a back-up. With all the chatter about the delays in the release of all the new low cost autopilots I though giving somebody else the chance to have a nice functioning autopilot would be a better use for it than waiting for the rare event that I have to replace the unit. The Accutrac II is brand-new and has never been installed. $1200 Frank 760 424 2058
  4. The AV-30-C and probe are sold - AV-20 is still available.
  5. Brand New AV-30-C - SOLD Frank 760 424 2058
  6. A single Aspen install requires Standby Airspeed, Altimeter, and Attitude Indicator. Accordingly to the G5 STC it qualifies as standalone primary source for aircraft attitude or turn coordination information while also displaying secondary information such as airspeed, altitude. My interpretation would be that you still need your ASI & AL.
  7. I had originally planned to install this setup as the independent electric backup for my Aspen install, but i didn't have enough clearance behind the available 2 1/4" cutout and decided to keep the Vacuum AI as I need the vacuum system for my Brittain Autopilot anyway. The setup is complete with wiring harness to install the battery pack on the avionics shelf in the rear of the aircraft. You will need to buy two need batteries. Complete Package is $1000 incl. shipping. Frank 760 424 2058
  8. Check out the for sale section for a complete AV30 / AV20 combo.
  9. SOLD The AV-20-S was removed after approx. 20hrs of use and is in like new condition and comes with uncut factory harness. $700 incl. shipping. Current new price for all three items is $895 + shipping + tax. AV-30-C in pictures is sold. Frank 760 424 2058
  10. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for a KX165 with a NSD360HSI. I have the installation manuals for both units, but neither one shows the combination of the two. Thank you, Frank
  11. Richard - When did you order yours. I ordered 10/18, but haven't received an email from Uavionics yet. Thank you, Frank
  12. A technique that worked for me is to apply fiberglass strips on the backside and rub in superglue in circular motion (Cyanoacrylate)
  13. This must be the best equipped “B” In the fleet. I would love to see pictures.
  14. I would like to buy your Accutrac. If still available how much is shipping to US and how would you like to be paid.

    Thank you,

    Frank

They say 4 business days, but I'd say closer to 6!

  15. Hi

I have a GNS530A with high output com (16w) for $4000. I also can built you a complete wiring harness or help with audio panel  etc. THe advantage of installing a GNS530 would be that in the future you wouldn't have to change anything for the IFD550 install. I just did a complete ASPEN, GNS430W, KX125, PM6000 stack with plug and play harness for a fellow Mooneyspacer. If you are interested you can give me a call @ 760 424 2058 if you are interested.

Frank is the 530A WAAS or is the difference only that it has the 16w vs 10w?

    2. Schinderhannes

      Schinderhannes

It is not WAAS the A is for the 16w com. 530w’s are closer to twice the price.

Frank my concern is finding an avionics shop to do the install.

  16. If the GI275 doesn't require a certified backup I would look into the Uavionics AV20. https://uavionix.com/products/av-20s/
  17. Somehow this reminds me of sailboats... https://www.defender.com/category.jsp?id=2028711&path=-1|17|2028687
  18. Even if the GI275 is one of those mystical creatures know as "egg-laying and milk-giving wool-pig” Aspen's STC is very clear on where the standby instruments have to be installed and you will encounter one of the inherit short comings of the "egg-laying and milk-giving wool-pig” it can't be at multiple places at the same time.
  19. You need A/S, Altitude, whiskey compass, and Attitude with standby battery
  20. Garmin GPS496 with yoke mount, AIRGIZMO mount with angle adapter, XM antenna, GPS remote antenna, GDL39 with battery and charger, 12 cigarette lighter cable to connect 496 to GDL. Also included is GDL39 manual. Everything works perfect $600 Frank 760 424 2058
  21. SOLD GDL82, GA35 Antenna With Cable, wiring harness $1450 Or include GTX327 For &1800.
  22. In light of the fact that the Honeywell mother ship is in the process of laying off 40% of their staff with focus on the aviation department I wouldn't count on any progress. I just hope that my Accutrak soldiers on.
  23. All Garmin boxes provide lateral and vertical guidance output on 2 different connectors. P1001 is the main connector and provides the signal for GPS and VOR. P1004 solely provides output from the VOR/Glideslope receiver. I would check if the the vertical guidance for the autopilot is connected to P1004 as this scenario would provide vertical input to the autopilot when flying an ILS approach, but not when flying a GPS approach. In most installations P1004 has only one set of wires for the NAV audio. If possible I would try to take a look at the back side of the unit and check how many wires are connected to P1004.
  24. IMHO this is the best value for the peso - only available south of the border. Hope we can go back to MMES soon
