  1. Do me a favor and shoot me an email with a pic of the current panel and this info. Let me see what we can do and will get you various options and estimates for you to sob over.....I mean look over. Remember, AMU is not the same as USD!!!!! LOL
  2. Come up here to 3S8 and visit. We will get you in and see what's going on. The 335 will not display anything anywhere as @LANCECASPER said before. You need to get the 345 or the 375 for that. Come up, let's break bread and discuss! We are just 60 miles North of the CA border.
  3. We can do a one piece panel for you. Shoot me an email and I will work up an estimate.
  4. We are trying to see what other folks are looking for to upgrade their panels. We are looking for things more "Mooney owner driven" to support everyone here. We are willing to expand our Avionics inventory and to help folks get what they are looking for. We are growing this year and are going to start offering custom panels to order, possibly, if that is what folks are looking for. Be nice, respectful and let's help out the community!
  5. Grab one of these: Comant E Series Ci E01 Transponder / ADS-B Out Antenna Non TSO | Aircraft Spruce and then put screws in where the old screws used to be and BOOM! Bob's your uncle!
  6. Over time, the rails get pretty messed up and are "Swiss Cheese" for sure. If you have the opportunity, replace them while things are open. It will save time, money and headaches. These are a great alternative and future proof the stack. Radiorax Tray Mount Kits | Aircraft Spruce
  7. They are just soft rivets that are double flushed. We generally redo the racks to get rid of them, if we are doing a whole new panel.
  8. Lookin' Good Lucy!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks great!
  9. Want to see a Mooney with a 10" and a 7" Dynon screens? @NotarPilot show us your stuff!!!!
  10. Are you using the Ident button on the yoke? If so, that my be fault or one of the 2 wires could be not making proper contact or be broken. If you are using the on screen, as @Marauder stated, the screen may need to be calibrated.
  11. Call my Office Manager Kiera Morales tomorrow. She will help you out with that. She is AMAZING at that issue.
  12. Sorry, to answer that question, no it doesn't NEED to be a WAAS.
  13. If you want it to be IFR, you need a separate Navigator or GPS input. I would not even entertain a non-WAAS unit. The internal is non-WAAS on the Dynon system and the system is phenomenal if you are not wanting to get into the Big G vortex. We are doing a dual Dynon in a J model right now and will post pics here, hopefully, when it is done. Although @NotarPilot probably will post it here as well.
  14. Be sure there is ground there as well. There shouldn't be an inline fuse on there and the Lemo plugs are pretty straight forward. Truly, all you need there is Power, Ground and then the regular L,R, Lo, Mic Hi and Mic Lo. PTT isn't a pin on there as all that does is provide a ground to the Key Line to the Audio Panel. So, check both Power and Ground as the ground may have come off or loose.
  15. Worked out great! Will post, with the owner's permission, once it is totally done. @NotarPilot
  16. No Bob, this is me. You called 1 time in the middle of the holiday season and I am sorry if I haven't responded yet. I am still catching up. I will not address this here and I am always happy to help folks out, especially you. We have been friends for a long time and when you needed me after your prop strike, I was there for you. For you to blast anyone like this is not ok and completely counterproductive. Further, it is not required that the Configuration Sheets get supplied to the owners. I would love to help you out, but this is not ok to make your accusations and rants like this that are unsubstantiated.
  17. No, that's what I was commenting about so folks do not get confused. The electric trim doesn't need to be attached to the GFC500 as long as folks know that it is still a manual trim and not coupled to the AP. I respect the folks at Lasar!
  18. That's wonderful for you! I know most of the folks that are still there. We are all still good friends! I just worry about their margins is all. Good on you!!!! So glad you are happy with it! If it was Yash who you worked with, he has come a long way.
  19. It isn't coupled to the trim, I can pretty much guarantee that. It is not able to. You may still have your electric trim but it is not Auto Trim. Please clarify.
  20. Ok, no it is still a go. I do not trust this too much but will say, I got word this week from them that possibly by end of 1st Qtr it should be ready. All has been approved but one part from one of their suppliers. Let the beatings commence now!!!!! LOL
  21. Sending you a Message Personally
  22. That had to be a special or they lost money for sure on that. Sorry, but that is the truth. I used to be the Avionics and General Manager there before I started my own Repair Station here in So. Oregon. You got a heck of deal and they lost money for sure. Just my 2 cents
  23. Well Anthony, I spoke with the Western Sales Manager for BK the other and I have some updates, but will send them to you via DM and the crowd is pretty harsh when you are a messenger, especially on this subject. LOL
  24. Skip....#3: The Garmin GI 275 display instrument, installed by STC SA02658SE, may be installed with a G3X PFD on certified aircraft to provide standby Attitude, Altimeter, and Airspeed Indicator functions (except in G3X installations which include Copilot displays).
