  1. I'll take one of each please.
  2. I previously did a pretty significant panel upgrade 3 years ago. I'm about to commit to Jaeger and Hawk to do interior and paint. I'm doing these jobs for me (and proper care of the plane), but also need to be cognizant that I'll eventually want to sell to upgrade as the family keeps growing. Part of me thinks these will help the plane sell faster too? It will definitely be a top of market example if and when I sell, probably comparable to Bob's beloved E. Is there a market for a completely redone E and would it sell for $110-120k with a sub mid time engine?
  3. I think an Ovation is the wrong choice for you, for me. I don't need yet another fella chasing the same limited amount of birds that I'm trying to shop too. FWIW, I'm the same size as the op and I love the way I fit in my E. Chris just seems to be a glass half empty kinda guy.
  4. Not me. But coincidental that this pops up. Commercial real estate is my game and I figured T hangars would go along with bare commercial flex space that I've focused on. So I offered to foot the bill for new swanky T hangars at my FBO. There's a personal motivation involved, of course. Dorkface hasn't even responded to the email with that offer. Ugh.
  5. You deliver a scolding so eloquently.
  6. I wanted to ask the same question
  7. I have no way to confirm this - well I do but I don't know where my citation is. The 64 and older have the curved undersurface of the ailerons which I read somewhere, again don't remember where, requires greater control input forces. If I was a betting man I would wager that's why Garmin started at 1965 and went newer
  8. I was told to keep this on the low. So don't tell them I shared this, ok? Thanks. Twas a bk guy who sent that to me.
  9. It's only a 14-hour flight for me. I'd love to go back
  10. I read you are supposed to disclose the faa medical people if you contract it.
  11. I offered him my E, even to fly it cross country to him in CA as I recall. He turned it down and didn't like us asking hard questions. I think he was expecting to shoot fish in a barrel and we didn't play along. Too bad about the 3100 too. That whole send us a PO was really awkward.
  12. Bummer. Thought the SE might be able to break 1000? Guess there is AC too. Nice plane!
  13. I really wanted fiki but you've got my attention. What's the UL? Are you the owner or a broker?
  14. You going to add TKS? I recall that being important to you. Congrats!
  15. I did the same thing. Even if I move to an R, someone is going to want an AP for my E
  16. Having an IFD (the superior gps) already, this really needs to happen!
  17. She just lost all her leverage, told me we've got our 2nd in the oven. Don't need these balls anymore! I'm calling the factory right now! Bwhahahaha
  18. My annual in 2020 was supposed to be owner assist until my wife decided to come and make it a family vacation. They were ok with me helping. Ended up turning a few wrenches after all and enjoyed it a ton.
  19. I told her that she's getting a brand new house this year costing way more than this, why can't I have a new plane. Fair is fair.
  20. My wife said she would chop off my balls if I bought the current, pre-completed Ovation. I'm still weighing the options.
  21. Then why are you acting indignant with what data alan chooses to share and when?
  22. Did you end up purchasing this one?
  23. We made our AGL annual into a family vacation. Found an Airbnb, blocked time off work, and enjoyed the heck out of it. Planning on doing it each year. 3 hr flight for the certainty of a well done annual is priceless IMO.
  24. Now that the GFC 500 is certified for nearly all the Moonship fleet, if you're torn between the E5 and G5s, it's a no brainier for the dual G5s. But, if you want an E5 that badly, you can have mine and I'll get the G5s.
  25. Anyone think Ovation's will be able to buy a UL increase from the factory this year? I heard it was possibly in the works
