  1. I talked to some Whelen guy at OSH and he said they were working/planning on something for another supplier, it wouldnt be a retail Whelen customer. Kinda got the impression it was for the M factory. Now that the factory is kaput I doubt its going anywhere if it ever was. Good idea on the poll, thats the highest priority LED light for me. Dont use those lights cause of the burn issue. Wonder if Mooney is the only application?

  4. Yes, micro switches go bad. Flew it to MSC at KCHD and they fixed by cleaning switches, no problems 2 years later

  6. Check out the Aspen side of things, ACU and EA100. If they check out then you can refocus on autopilot.

  8. Yes I have the same issue also - bought a new Ipad air with IOS 13 and it sucks accessing these forums - I get the same crap you are experiencing. Using my older IPad I never see these isues, I can demo them side by side. They really hosed up the user interface. I am going to get an appointment at the Apple store in SDL where I bought and see if they can adjust it or maybe its a defective screen who knows. It does work really well with Garmin Pilot though. It seems like they change a lot of stuff with these new releases simply to justify more coding. Notice how the email app has been slightly tweaked to change the way emails are Deleted. So much for muscle memory when transitioning to a new release. Touch interface on IOS 13 is crap!

  11. Investigate to see if prop is weeping oil, small amount could be carried by moisture. Check where blades enter the hub, should be pretty much oil free in that area.

  14. I,ll buy one to replace my #2 KX155 if: it will accept crossfill from my Gtn650. I want flight plan in 650 to go to this device right away using xfill option in 430/650 like boxes. Otherwise its standalone nav island.

  19. I figured that out - went to web site, phones numbers dont go anywhere and went to a simulated order and system fails. Too bad, I dont know if there are any other certified separators that do not use vacuum system?

  21. Looking at removing vacuum system on my 1990 J model. It has an Airwolf Oil separator that uses the vacuum system to energize the system. Anyone know of an oil separator that does not use the vacuum system?
  22. Also isnt there a maintenance shop right behind the restaurant?
