  1. I never heard of using a AT&T / Verizon \ Sprint etc iPad and crossing it over to another provider. I have used AT&T IPad in the air in the Midwest data coverage was bad. I have used Verizon IPad in the air in the Midwest and data coverage is very good I have used iphone 5 with Sprint in the air in the Midwest and data coverage is bad.
  2. A friend had his warrior overhauled, flew it once twice a week about 100 hours per year. 5th year his cam/ lifters went south, he had to do another overhaul. Another friend has many airplanes and one of them he has owned since new a 69 180, about 900 hours never overhauled flys on average once month about 20-25 hours a year and never a problem. Both airplanes based in IL, the warrior in a cold drafty hanger and the 180 always in a large heated hangar. I wonder if storage also has something to do with it................

  4. Machine dry foam cleaning ( the backing never gets wet ) you can do inside the aircraft dry within minutes. Wet extraction I would never do inside a aircraft (corrosion) If the carpet is wool always use a low PH shampoo.
  5. Power Flow was the best performance upgrade I've done, I also like having less chance of carbon monoxide problems.

  7. My altimeter lasted 18 years. I replaced this past July during a IFR check ( leaking ).

  10. I flew my C for 10years, then several years ago I installed a Millenium engine, Power Flow, challenge filter. The take off was dramatically better. At altitude my buddy in his E cannot out run me.
  11. Whenever I have service performed by A N Y mechanic I personally check and verify every service performed. I trust know one when it comes to maintenance on my aircraft.

  14. My 70 model will switch left to right. Swap the belts.
  15. Not directed at anyone here I've been hearing this the past few years. I always read things like after 60-70 grand you can get Into a J............maybe worn workable J but not a very nice updated J like the F listed.

  17. Better have a buddy all ready doing 135 operations so you can jump on his certificate. Trying to get a new start up 135 cert is almost impossible these days.

  20. I installed the Aero Comfort leather wrap with my N number stitched on it years ago. Still looks like new, dresses it up real nice.
