Mooney owners willing to offer ride by location or meet for lunch ect.

I read through the posts and saw quite a number of people from MN, and one from EAU.  There are three Mooney owners here at KFCM who get together for lunch every once in awhile, between us we have a 231, a 205, and a C or F, not sure which it is. There are a couple of other owners that I have not met, I just see their aircraft on the ramp from time to time.  It looks to me as though we have a quorum for a Minnesota Mooney club, or a Minnesota/Southeast WI Mooney club.  Why don't we try to get something going?

I am gone next week (fishing in AK), but we could try meet sometime after that.

I've got a 231 based at FFZ in Mesa, AZ.  Any excuse to go fly, talk about flying, watch others fly ... well, you get the picture.  Tag me anytime and I'm happy to take someone flying or go fly with them in theirs :)

The Ovation is taking another potential future owner for a ride next Wednesday at 7B2 Northampton MA, always happy to help...  Thanks for the drool warning...

Big thank you to Greg and his Ovation. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and Greg's company. It was a great way to get to know the aircraft, and now a lot of comments about it resonate. Needless to say I loved the way it flew and watching Greg grease 2 landings put paid to the notion that Mooney's are hard to land. You just have to land them right :)

Thanks again Greg!

Always happy to get someone involved in Mooneys... I'm based at KIYK (Inyokern, CA).  Pretty much in the middle of the Mojave desert (i.e. middle of nowhere).  At least the Mooney helps make it the "middle of everything".   I fly a 1987 M20J 205 and she's always ready for a food run with someone who loves aviation!

Count me in as well. I owned a 172 for many years before taking a step up to a M 20 B. I am forever searching for an excuse to go fly. I am hangered in upstate SC at Anderson airport.

I'm hangared in Northampton, but come into Barnes now and then for fuel - and that is where I took Robert and his wife on that demo flight...  So...  trade ya an Ovation ride for an F-15/18 ride? :)

So, it is very likely it was me...

Do you fly out of Barnes? If so, I think I saw your mooney out on the ramp, or taxiing in while I was guest flying / standing alert in F-15's up there... I wrote down a tail number but forgot to look it up....

Coming up on 3 days off in LA. Monday - Wednesday I will be in a hotel in North Hollywood. If there is anybody close to there that would be interested in a meal on me and fuel as well if the opportunity to fly is available, please send me a message. I am chomping at the bit to get a ride in a Mooney! Thank You.

I'd like to extend this idea a bit.

My biggest problem is ground transportation when I find an interesting restaurant somewhere. If you're a mooney owner and want to fly into Huntsville for some outstanding BBQ, let me know.  And, of course, if you're a Mooney owner with a good restaurant nearby, let me know. :)

Hmmmm.

This is a great idea.   :)

I wonder if there would be a better, more user friendly format for this?

Maybe and alphbetical listing by state/airport and type of Mooney so one would not have to go through the entire thread?

Also, when I travel from airport to airport, it would be nice to have a "quick list" of Mooney-friendly folk at each location.

Any ideas?
