Marauder Posted July 9, 2013 Report Posted July 9, 2013 On WingX if the map does not load push the round icon second from the right at the bottom of the screen when in Map view. Hmmm... Didn't work. Does the GPS need to be on and connected for the map to show? Everyone I spoke to said, no. But the only way to get it to load is to push the "route" button and select "show above" for one of the route segments. Otherwise, I get this: Quote
fantom Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 For sure....where did you get Peter's photo? I'm confused He told me it was your picture. ....even you, in your perpetually confused state, must realize how integrity and judgement challenged Dent is. Quote
Marauder Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 ....even you, in your perpetually confused state, must realize how integrity and judgement challenged Dent is. Ah, but I got to meet Dent. He is a fine upstanding human being, not to mention he owns a beautiful Mooney. He is a real person and pilot (and I say pilot loosely because I got to see his Sea World landing -- it had a lot of porpoises ). Until we meet, I'm guessing you are a 10 year old, posting on this site with someone's Mooney shown as your avatar and the only flying you are doing is with Microsoft Simulator that you probably pirated. Your turn... Quote

Funny, since several years ago I accused the 'all-knowing', Dent of the same profile. I'm not saying he's a bad guy....just a posting jerk. Yes, some could say the same of me, but I don't intentionally mislead MooneySpace folks with unsubstantiated claims, nor wear down source expertise like Aspen and Cam Guard with pedantic, and ignorant demands. You will note that the Dent never posted anything about his paint experiences or his avionics upgrades for others to learn from. Just after the fact pictures with zero facts....symptomatic of a jerk, IMHO. You, of all people, should not be mentioning avatars. Why am I even getting into it with either Popeye or someone having a serious identity crisis? Over and out! Quote

Obviously the two of you have history. I wasn't here for that history, nor did I research it. I just go by how people treat me. I met him for the first time in June. He was very open about who painted his plane, shared cost and we did talk about his interior. He took the time to send out follow up emails on where he got the leather to do the interior, what to watch out for when buying it and what to buy. He also told us about how he re-worked the interior components. And he certainly didn't get upset as we were climbing all over his Mooney, looking at what he did to it. Maybe he turned over a new leaf... Quote
