A partner and I are importing a 1983 M20k from the U.S. to Canada.  We have an appointment with the Minister's Delegate tomorrow to inspect the plane and issue the Canadian C of A.  We thought everything was is order until our mechanic told me this afternoon that the POH is not current, we will need to update ours to revision 1228D or else it may not pass the inspection...  I hate last minute surprises.

I've spoken to Mooney about this, they're able to help but it may take some time.  Do I have any other options?  Thanks, Bruce

On this short of notice? You can pray that they don't take too hard of a look at the POH.  :(

Check DeltaviationLLC.com .  They have some Mooney POH's at one of their links.  I have no idea if they have the particular one that you want, but I do know that they have several revisions for each model.  I was just looking at them this afternoon.  It is under Aircraft Information Sources.

E-mail Frank Crawford <fcrawford@mooney.com> at mooney.  He is the tech support section.

He sent me the revisions I needed for my POH in PDF, i took them to FedEx Kinkos with the POH that I had to show the size I required and they made it happen for me in less than 24 hours.  Just remember to tell Frank what revision page you have currently so he they can send you all revisions up to now.

Then again, he could be the guy you already contacted, at which point, I got nothing.  Sorry.

But I hope this helps.

I owned this mooney for 8 years prior to selling it to the gentlemen you purchased it from. She is a great mooney and I still miss her, hated to she her go to the cold temps but glad to see she is still flying. It had about 1100 hrs smog when I sold it and was wondering how long the cont. engine went to TBO? The other owner had it a long also did he upgrade? I have a Bravo now but there is a lot I like about the k models.

Good luck
