  1. As a former moony 252 and bravo owner for 20yrs I recently purchased a R182 and love it it meets or exceeds the book performance, I have 2 grandchildren about the same age as your children and it’s so much easier to load and unload lovely pics by the way! My wife thought it was a pic I took of our kids at first glance . it depends on your missions but I would look at the 182RG any questions 740-391-2229
  2. I went through the same thing 2 yrs ago. After 9 months I bit the bullet and took my Bravo to wetwingologist in Florida. ( I live in Ohio). Edison is great to deal with , gave me a fixed price and time to complete was 2 weeks. He did a complete strip and reseal on all tanks including the long range tanks and they look fantastic. Plus he gives a written warranty of 7 yrs. I highly recommend.
  3. Mine was actually a trophy 262 so I could be wrong ! I was once.
  4. Don't forget the turbo induction tube/ hose there is an access door located on the lower cowl on the right side. You will need to disconnect the clamp before the cowl will drop. When reinstalling is when the fun begins! Try to keep the hose from bunching up as you work the cowl in place. I used a curved pick to work the hose up on to the housing . It is a real PITA but gets easier after a few cowl removals.
  5. Right now I have the IPad 2 air with foreflight and love it except for the size . The iPhone 6 might be the solution as a backup. Thanks
  6. Any thoughts on the iPad mini 3? I am thinking of buying one to install Forflight on. I already have the iPad 2 air.
  7. I appreciate the info guys thanks. Where did you find the pics Carl? I used a strong magnifier and it definitely reads Joe not X
  8. My daughter in law found it at an Amish flee market . Little joe miller! That's the money question, I know I would love to come across a pic of my father from the Army Air Corp. I notice they have the drop tanks attached so perhaps this is a actual mission.
  9. This is an original pic with no writing anywhere to be found. The center planes nose art reads ( LITTLE JOE MILLER ) I would love to find the family of the pilot(s) . I'm sure the would love to have it as a keepsake. Anyone have an idea? Thanks
  10. I am hoping it is in the back where it is accessible,I don't like pulling the interior panels. Without looking at the drawing I assume there is a line running to the gauge as well. I always shut the oxy off when not in use because I never forget anything! I always shut the oxy off when not in use because I never forget anything! Thanks for the info.
  11. I have a 1991 bravo and the O2 is leaking . It takes about a month for it to completely bleed off. Does anyone know from past experience were to start looking?
