yvesg Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 Yves, sounds like you just have to cut a slot in the end of what you have if it is wide and thick enough. Does the wood dry fast enough to be ready for the 2nd tank? And I forgot to answer your question: Yes it dries OK when doing the work around. Always dry when I dip the second thank. Yves Quote
Bob_Belville Posted April 17, 2013 Report Posted April 17, 2013 Yeah, you need a stick that's thinker than a paint stir. My bee frame end bar is 3/8" thick. I'd be careful with a wood stick in the fuel tank -- be sure the wood is not frayed, I could visualize a splinter jamming the quick drain open. Murphy rules the world. BTW, when I owned an E model back it the 70s/80s I did not need a tool to change fuel tanks... wonder what has changed? Quote

Hey Bob, saw my other thread about the drain issue? You visualized the event right but not the cause... and this within a week's time. can you tell me what will be the Canadian Lotto 6/49 numbers this coming Wednesday? I'll definitely give you a share of the price if we win. Yves Quote
