robert7467 Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 I am trying to figure out weight and balance my M20C. I looked in my POH and cant find any ARM Data. I need to figure out the arm for: Fuel Oil Front Seat Passengers Rear Seat Passengers Baggage Comp Hat Comp I have the aircraft W&B info after we added the 3 bladed prop... Do you know where I can get this information? Thanks, Quote
JaredDavis Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Hi Robert, My '65 C has a separate 8.5 x 11 notebook with the arms. I think this info is available on the mooney.com website under the AFM section. What year do you own? Regards, Jared Quote
robert7467 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 1966 I downloaded the W&B info from mooney website... The W&B portion is 15 pages, which is information overload.... Quote
Hank Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Robert-- I did a google search a couple of years back and found a spreadsheet that someone had created; I modified it for my 1970 C, but cannot attach it here. Send me an email if you want it. Right now I can't find the source, but I used the following arms: Front seat, forward 36½" Front seat, middle 40¼" Front seat, rear 44" Back seat 70.7" Baggage area 93" Fuel & oil should be on the Weight & Balance record in the plane, just adjust for actual use. Full fuel is 52 gal = 312 lbs. Quote
robert7467 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 my W&B only shows empty weight of the plane.. Quote
robert7467 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 Here is what I am working with.... Quote

JaredDavis Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 It does look confusing for 1966 since multiple pages with different text are marked as valid for that year. 1966 = sheets 18-23 of http://www.mooney.com/images/pdfs/mark20c_afm.pdf And for some reason, 1966 is listed also on sheets 24-31. I don't know which one should be used. Send an email to Mooney? Quote
Hank Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Jared, thanks! That's great, and the arms match what I have. Hatrack = 110" too. Robert, PM your email and I'll send you the spreadsheet I found. The empty weight and CG for your plane are required entries, then you just add fuel, passenger and baggage weights. It will take into account which of the three holes you put your seat into, but you must specify. I use the middle one, most right seaters use all the way back to stay clear of the rudders. Quote
