I had mine done at Mena Aircraft also. The price was very reasonable and the quality was good. By the way, Mena, in my view, is quite a ways from Fayetteville. It is not far into AR from Texas.

Outside of Hot Springs is what I meant, not Fayetteville (another trip I had on my mind)..Minor brain skip. Very pretty flying over the area of Hot Springs with lots of lakes and mountain hills, however, not much area for emergency landings if needed. All in all about 250 miles from west TN.

If the overall paint is to your satisfaction you can touch up those areas you don't like the looks. Like the landing gear, wing walk, wing leading edge and other spots. I have done it myself with spray paint cans and foam brushes. My favorite paint is Rust-Oleum for the gear. It holds very well and looks nice. One month after the paint application you can wax it for a brand new look for less than $50.

If you are doing a total strip and paint job consider replacing the windows. I have seen new paint jobs contrasting with old faded windows. If you are getting new windows consider the tinted ones. They will make your electronic displays look better because of the reduced glare inside the cockpit.
