Sidewinder IS made in USA if that matters to you—does to me. I think it’s a small shop. Took nearly a month to get mine, but it’s well worth the wait.  And if you have ever seen 1 for sale, they get snatched up quick at used price of 1500, so if you can sell Sidewinder for 1500 when finished with it then initial acquisition cost isn’t so bad. 
 

before that I had converted a snow blower to a tug. Was great at pulling not so good at pushing, needed some weights and some kinda out rigger.
