My Mooney logo ball cap is getting threadbare, and I can't find another like it.  I bought it many years ago from MAPA, now sadly gone.  I don't like the one from Sporty's, wrong shape for my square head.  Suggestions please.

I didn't like any of the offerings I could find on the market years ago, so I ended up buying some blank caps that I liked (fit/pattern/etc) and got a local embroidery shop to put the current logo on the front for me.  I paid a programming fee the first time, but have gotten 3 caps made since then for nominal cost.

I won't sell any myself as it is not worth my time and I don't want to infringe on any copyrights, but if you'd like I'd be happy to receive a hat and have my shop do it and send it back to you.  This will end up costing more than a standard import cap after all that, but if you get exactly what you want then it might be worth it to you.

My current favorite is a Kryptek black camo hat, unstructured, curved bill, no top button, and a US flag on the side.  It looks like the attachment but with a ghosted Mooney logo instead.  There is a brown-ish camo pattern as well.

My lovely wife had her mother embroider a couple of hats for us with a "Mooney" airplane and our N#. Unfortunately, when my mother in law bought design, the "Mooney" she received is a piper one and she didn't know the difference. In a couple of months, I'll ask for some new ones and buy the correct file.

You can likely find someone on Etsy to do it. Anyone with an embroidery machine should be able to run it; the hard work is picking the right file online :)
