Fuel Injection on a M20C????

Does anyone know of a modification to add fuel injection to the O-360-A1D???  I see a couple of STC's changing the engine to IO-360s but none just adding fuel injection to the Carb equiped A1D.

I have never heard of this being done on any carbed aircraft engine, but I could be wrong. You can add a turbo to a C, or change engines to the same one that is in an E, but I have never heard of modifying the C engine to be injected. Or, you can sell your C and by one of the many nice E's that are on the market now. From a $$ standpoint that would probably be your best path to injection.

I have seen STC's to convert a carbureted engine to a fuel injected one.  I just havent seen one for the Mooney.  Like you say, I would be better off getting an airplane already equiped with FI.  The cost to convert would be more than the difference in cost of a M20C and an E or an F.
