All,

See the attached pic, I'd like to get your thoughts.  We have an issue and my A&P will take a look at it when he gets back from  a trip but wanted to see what the collective thought in the meantime.

The picture below shows the plane in straight and level flight.  The attitude indicator is level (which is correct) and the DG is not moving.  However, the TC would indicate something much different.  The effect seems to be more pronounced at higher speeds as a little while after this pic was taken the TC leveled out while I was slowing down and descending for the approach phase of my flight.

The plane does in fact roll right if we go hands off but the ball does not move to any significant degree.  So is the TC indication demonstrative of the actual roll that is somehow being corrected by yaw (even though the ball doesn't move much) and tied to the rigging?  Or is it probably the TC gyros?

Hi Jason.

My opinion is, if you are indeed straight and level as indicated by your AI, your DG and by your visual reference, then you are indeed so.  If the TC is indicating otherwise, the unit needs service.   Rigging is another story.

What is the ball doing?  At low altitude and high power settings, I have to push left rudder to get straight and level flight. My plane is rigged so that it is completely hands off at altitude.
