KSMooniac Posted June 15, 2023 Report Posted June 15, 2023 Wow, this looks like a great vehicle and a likely bargain! Makes me almost wish I had a kid that needed a vehicle. GLWS Lance. 1 Quote
ilovecornfields Posted June 15, 2023 Report Posted June 15, 2023 So many questions: 1. Will it pass CA smog? 2. Why do I need a trailer? Is it not self-propelled? 3. Why would you give a teenager a Mercedes?! 1 Quote

Why would you give a teenager a Mercedes?! 1. No idea. More and more places require smog testing of some sort. Is any required in F'burg? 2. Bring a Trailer is the website, but many vehicles for sale there are perfectly driveable. But not all of them. 3. Because it is safe, and can be purchased & insured inexpensively. It's over 20 years old now. The final option would be to use it as an airport car . . . . . for yourself, or the FBO. 1 Quote

My first car was a beat up Honda that I mowed lawns to get. I think it’s great if kids can earn their own vehicle. However today anything less than antilock brakes and airbags borders on negligence for the most likely age to get into an accident. I was t-boned by a girl in a huge pickup a couple months ago while driving my 16 year old Mercedes daily driver sedan and walked away without a scratch. I’ve enjoyed this ML so much that my new daily driver is a newer ML Mercedes to replace the totaled sedan. They are the company that has introduced every safety feature we’ve become accustomed to (crumple zones, padded dashes, collapsable steering wheel, shoulder harnesses, airbags, ABS, Electronic Stability Protection, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane tracking, pre-emptive braking, etc) 1 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I have a great transport company if anyone needs the info, Used them twice recently. Very reasonable. PM me if needed. They hauled a Lexus from AZ to Louisiana open, and a Land Cruiser enclosed. Not a scratch. Quote
