  1. I've used Phillips X/C 20W50 in my Bravo since I purchased it.
  2. I love this carbon monoxide detector, purchased it off of Amazon. I like it because it has both visual and auditory alerts,
  3. https://scs-interiors.com/products/mooney-m20r-and-m20m-vinyl-floor
  4. Depends on my altitude, but usually bring back MP inch a minute while in the descent with speed brakes deployed. With the summertime heat and wind gusts in AZ, it really helps with the stability.
  5. I have used full flaps on shorter runways, like 2R7 with a 3000 foot runway. Thanks for the reminder, Don.
  6. Good point, in the Bravo, I usually land flaps in the "take off" position just in case I need to go around.
  7. I use my speed breaks on the descent and during landing. It allows me a steady 500 foot per minute descent, and it also helps my Bravo "stick" to the runway, especially in the hot summer, gusty environments that we have here in the desert Southwest.
  8. Oh, wow I didn't know about this feature! Here's my recap:
  9. I need to update my interior, and I never thought I would say this but I kinda like the vinyl look! Seems like it would be very durable, practical, and easy to keep clean.
  10. That's awesome, these engines are hard to come by these days, and OH take forever.
  11. Yes! Especially when removing the scavenge pump
  12. Look at that beautiful red paint! So clean. Wait, no blow by oil on that belly yet ?!
  13. This vertical stabilizer was part of N1085W, and if I remember correctly, (The only reason I remember this is because I fly N1085G) I am sorry to hear about your plane.
  14. The only increase in useful load I can obtain in my Bravo is with less fuel !!!!
  15. I give mine a cash tip, they know they're appreciated.
  16. This was passed along to me during my MOH, this is the only one that I have.
  17. This is 800310, hopefully it may help M20M Wiring Diagram.pdf
  18. That's my norm right there. I'm in Tucson. I have to climb to altitude slowly to avoid anything over 400.
  19. Just to update, the scavenge pump was removed and sent back to Airmark Overhaul where they overhauled the pump completely under warranty. A shout out to Lenny at Airmark Overhaul, who took care of the pump at no charge. There are zero leaks after the pump was reinstalled. I have no more leaks (at the moment) Aramark overhaul completely overhauled my engine a few hundred hours back, and I have been extremely satisfied with their service. Good people.
  20. Last Tuesday, had a meeting in Chandler, AZ. I live in Tucson, so instead of driving, I decided to fly the Bravo and take an Uber from the airport to the venue. Leaving Chandler, I had to use a towel to control the yolk because it was so hot. Living in AZ, we are used to it. I love to fly, even when it's super hot outside!!!
