Torque tube assembly, rudder control 720005-501

We had the shaft that controls the nose wheel steering break off the main torque tube. 1966 Mooney m20e Hoping to source the torque tube assembly. We are AOG until we find one. Any help much appreciated

Your choices will be sourcing a used one, or repairing your existing one.  In either case you have to removed what you’ve got.  I’d send it off to Acorn in Edmonton and see if they can repair the one you have.

What's the best way to get this torque tube out?  I'm questioning the intelligence of the engineer that designed this.
