Does anyone have a digital copy of this wiring diagram?

I have a paper version and I am trying to trace where the power for the flap indicator light comes from. My wiring diagram is on 4 pages and shows 21LP55A18 is the power lead but it doesn’t match up with the actual wire code I have and it doesn’t show where this wire originated from.

a locating pin on a transistor I don't believe  I have seen that before.

If you work with Mooney airplanes you will see a lot of things you never saw before.

How about this bad boy?

nope can't say that I have seen one of those either. is it a Fuse of some kind?

Yes, it's a MIL-F-23491 style fuse.  Can be hard to find.

Yep haven't found any in stock with the major electronics places. But they can be special ordered at $35 each with a minimum order of 10. Ugh.

The worst part is where they mounted it. Center of the panel behind the throttle quadrant. Fortunately I know a 3 year old with small hands. Wonder if this constitutes a violation of a child labor law. ;)

And, the lead time may be breathtaking, as well.

I'd be more concerned with WHY the fuse blew, than with finding a suitable replacement. I'd just fit in a properly rated cartridge fuse; you can purchase them with pre-attached leads.

If that fuse/transistor panel didn’t require a whole lot of disassembly to get to, I’d probably have some adjustments made. I’ve owned the plane for 31 years and never knew exactly where this panel resided. I always thought it was tucked up with the shower of sparks or somewhere closer to the breaker panel.

And I’m pretty sure I know why it blew. There was a broken wire at the rheostat. The plane goes in for annual tomorrow and we will confirm the circuit integrity.
