If you don’t mind sharing, How much $?

$7500. Plus less than $200 in parts and the cost of fuel. 52 gallon tanks and no unforseen issues.

came back from the airport and looks like it’s time to reseal the tanks. Hangar smells like avgas and blue stains are quite prominent.

If you don’t mind, how did you land on Houston Tank vs other locations. If you are base in Utah, I assume that distance was not deciding factor.

That’s a great price and job. Is that for both sides? I presume since you said 52 gallons it is.

At that rate I think they will have more than enough work for years to come. Did they mention what stripping process they used?

Chemical stripping, don't remember what the exact chemicals were. Did have to sign a waiver to acknowledge possible paint damage from the fuel vents. As for Houston, personal decision. Price was cheaper, and it was for the 52 gallon tanks. Florida was a little too far and I don't like giving money to socialists err  Minnesota.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Houston tank specialists. They quoted my 4K a side for my 64 gallon F and were willing to do just one side if that was needed.
