Anyone know of a M20C with a 201 Cowl?

Hi,

I have a M20J/201 Cowl in my hangar. No STC exists that I know of for the 20C, there is one for the 20E,20F. So trying to find a M20C with an FAA 337 approved 201 Cowl. Then I can then use that Form 337 as reference, to make a field repair.

There is an STC for a 201 Cowl mod. Check out LASAR.com or Southwest Texas Aviation. Both places have can give you further information.

There is a 63 or 64 Mooney 20C with a 201 Cowling at PDK in Atlanta.  It is owned by Epps Aviation.  Call the piston maintenance shop and ask for Greg Lammers.  Maybe he can provide you with some info.  Jeff is a mechanic that works under Greg and is the best Mooney mechanic I have ever seen.  You might talk to him as well but be aware that he is autistic and can be difficult to understand.
