I own a 78 m20j. My mechanic removed the transducer for the fuel flow part or the gauge because he said it was faulty and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, my mechanic passed away. Now I can't find the transducer. I understand that the transducer  "K"  factor has to match the "K" factor of the fuel flow gauge. I can't find any information on this system. Does anyone have any experience with system?

we need more info.  What type of system?  Hoskins, Shadin, JPI, Electronic International?
The number you posted should be a combined fuel pressure/ manifold pressure gauge and should be purely mechanical

Number 8 should be your dual gauge, number 9 would be the Hoskins fuel flow gauge.

Welcome aboard Roman!

Sorry to hear about your mechanic…

Fastest, bestest way to get to the bottom of this…   Follow doc’s advice above…

Figure out what you have, what you need, and how to get it installed properly, then get the K factor set right…

Pics are always helpful…  one of the sensor, another of the panel instrument…

PP thoughts only, not a mechanic…

Best regards,
