JimB Posted September 15, 2020 Report Posted September 15, 2020 I am trying to locate a valid part number for the nut plates for the inner fuel sending units on a 1969 Mooney M20F. The number listed in the IPC is PN 22-NA1K-62. I am unable to find that particular part number anywhere. Does anyone know if these are still available or if there an alternate? Thanks Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted September 15, 2020 Report Posted September 15, 2020 Here are some other numbers for it: Quite a few of the aviation warehouses claim to have some. NSN 5310-01-017-6437 HE114-0094-0001 22NA1K-62 Quote

Guest Posted September 16, 2020 Report Posted September 16, 2020 Try Monroe Aerspace, they have a lot of information on their site. https://monroeaerospace.com/index.php?_ga=2.36248416.1553097116.1600252580-750248444.1600252580 Clarence Quote
JimB Posted September 16, 2020 Author Report Posted September 16, 2020 Thanks everyone. I contacted Mooney and they suggested a NAS1473A3 but that is a 10-32 nut plate. I think a NAS1474A06 will work but not sure about rivet spacing. Monroe does have a bit of everything. Also this Military Fasteners place is a good go to for pretty much any hardware. https://military-fasteners.com/nuts/self_locking+nutplates/NAS1474A06 Quote
JimB Posted September 16, 2020 Author Report Posted September 16, 2020 Ok. I was able to find the nutplate on the Lasar site when I search without a dash "22NA1K-62". Are these nutplates in the tank really not capped/sealed?? I have one that is weeping a bit and tried to give it a little more turn and it doesn't tighten. Before I drain the tank I was going to have the parts on hand but maybe I just need to get in there and look. Quote
carusoam Posted September 17, 2020 Report Posted September 17, 2020 Find the one with the cap on it... (?) I have seen pics around here, somewhere... @Gagarin May have some insight... MS has some magic installed... Best regards, -a- Quote
