It would be nice to mount it outside. Now I know. They came out really good and I love that the GPS is installed in them also. How was the battery life and the uploading process? Thanks for sharing them. Look forward to seeing more. B~
Txbyker Posted August 5, 2011 Author Report Posted August 5, 2011 Brett, thanks. I have heard good things about the GoPro too. The software for the ContourHD is lacking a bit in that it is proprietary. You can't use Windows Media or any other editing based software to edit. Contour says they are coming out with new software versions. There are quite a few comparison videos on YouTube like this one The ContourHD does not have a remote start stop so you could not for example mount the camera on the wing of your Falcon and start and stop it via Bluetooth from the cockpit. Of course it would only remain mounted during taxi. LoL. Russ
