FWIW, the "FCC approval" may be nothing more than Part 15 certification, which pretty much everything has to pass, which just certifies that it meets the requirements for "unintentional" radiation, i.e., rf energy radiated is below certain levels.   Again, pretty much everything has to meet that, so this isn't unique to or special to this product.   Since the ad doesn't specify that it's anything else, my assumption would be that it's nothing more than Part 15.

I'd agree in general for most products.  The typical car chargers are worse than you can imagine - poor designs and no filtering at all.

This one was specifically tested in the lab and in aircraft across the radio spectrum used in aviation.
