I am favoring the non AHRS version, but I might consider the 3D model if it isn't too pricey. I am using my AERA 550 as display and WINGX & FLYQ on the IPAD. The 3D model doesn't do me much good right now, but there is a chance that I upgrade to the AERA 660 in the future.

If I were you I’d sell the 550 for $600, buy a stratux kit for $100, and use the rest of the cash for a lifetime subscription to FlyQ. Imagine- no more EFB fees....
