carusoam Posted December 22, 2017 Report Posted December 22, 2017 Interesting observation. I don't think I could remember that many numbers to make that comparison over time... That's when I look at the graph and see the picture... 10°F over 350°F in six minutes... not very noticeable in a real life cylinder/chemical reactor... do the cylinders wander the same? peak at the same time, trough at the same time...? Could be something like a baffling flopping. Effecting the cooling of all related cylinders...? Expect some harmonic wandering with the flow of fuel and air...If six graph lines are all doing the same wander... carry on...? does the CHT wander have any relation to an EGT wander...? What I am usually looking for in CHTs... actual temps, spread from hottest to coldest... Knowing my #5 is always warmer than the rest PP Thinking out loud, not a mechanic... Best regards, -a- Quote
Robert C. Posted December 22, 2017 Author Report Posted December 22, 2017 yeah, like I said, it feels like a red herring. All that data to play with now that i have data logging!! Quote
