Way to go Parker!

Flying The Mooney is only a few hours of transition training away...

Now go practice the phrase... 'hey Dad, can I borrow the keys?'  See how well that works. :)

We celebrated a friend's son's first solo last week.  He flew a piper at the local NJ MSC.

Best regards,

Time to move into the Mooney!

I've given this kid my life, my love, my money.  He is NOT getting my Mooney.

Says the Dad before the kid needs his complex endorsement....

I got my private on my 17th birthday.  My dad kept me out of his plane by offering it to me if I paid the insurance. :)

Congratulations to you and your son.  My dad passed away a few years ago, my fondest memories are flying with him.

Cheers,

Dan

My 17 year old son did this today in our 172.  I could not be more proud.

Congrats Parker. Amazing how much that 172 interior looks like a Mooney. How did they widen the airplane to make the Mooney interior fit?

I like my old set a lot more than the new ones.  I talked to a tech at Flightcom and he told me they changed the shape of the ear cups with the newest version.  The new ones do not seal as well as the old ones on my head.  So I still use my vintage pair.
