M20FanJesse Posted April 13, 2017 Author Report Posted April 13, 2017 (edited) Amazon opened up an option to make shirts with them, so I've moved my design to be made through them. There are several benefits to this. One, free shipping with Prime, which means each shirt is a few bucks cheaper. Two, they arrive in about 4 days. Three, one listing has Mens, Womens, and Youth sizes. And Four, the shirts are slightly thicker and are sized correctly (a medium is a medium). This also will solve the problem of having multiple orders in the cart and wondering which one is which. Thanks to all who bought shirts so far, to those who had a problem ordering ( i know there were a few im sorry) this should fix the issues. I cannot thank you guys enough. I had to change the title, as their copyright team wouldn't approve use of the name in the Title. But I hope its still identifiable enough! https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B071CQ4Y31 Edited April 13, 2017 by M20FanJesse 1 Quote
carusoam Posted April 13, 2017 Report Posted April 13, 2017 Jesse, It would be extra interesting if the link can be modified to include the Amazon.smile extension. using the .smile properly applies a portion of the sale towards the Mike Elliot driven charity for downed Mooney pilots. Are you familiar? Best regards, -a- 1 Quote

Actually I'm talking with an old retired guy whos a CFII who says he might help me get my instrument rating for a discounted rate! So while Im still saving up, I might be able to get started sooner than I thought!!!!!! The only thing that concerns me is that he wants to use his airplane, which is an old fairly weathered Grumman AA1 Yankee, and Im not sure why but they seem very unstable and to the uninitiated, not the idea plane to do training in. But I still might do it since its a huge discount. Just doing some research now. Thanks again! Quote
MB65E Posted June 28, 2017 Report Posted June 28, 2017 Those Grummans are great!! I'd take him up on it. Take a peek at the spar, but it's probably a good little airplane. -Matt 1 Quote

"The AA-1 is by no means an IFR airplane - don't even think of serious instrument flying in this one. At cruise speeds, simply leaning forward and back in the pilot's seat will trigger 500 fpm altitude excursions." http://www.grumman.net/cgrcc/aa1.html But maybe thats not regarding IFR training, but actual flying in IMC conditions... Andy95W Posted June 28, 2017 Report Posted June 28, 2017 Take the huge discount. Use the Grumman Yankee. Don't go for the easy solution. Worst case scenario is that it'll make you a better pilot. 2 Quote

Rustler Posted June 29, 2017 Report Posted June 29, 2017 The Grumman isn't like our Mooneys, but you'll learn to like it. Just ordered mine in cranberry. Quote

M20FanJesse Posted July 26, 2017 Author Report Posted July 26, 2017 Hey guys, so several of you have asked for newer mooneys than the 20C shirt I did, and I know they were a little on the higher side of price. So I decided to go with a newer model, the M20J body, and tried out a few different designs with color. I can add a few different schemes, but wanted to know which you liked best so I can continue making more based on it. Do you like the solid color shirts, the half transparent shirts, or the simple outline\blueprint design? Also, they are now one side, $16 and free shipping if you have prime. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=w_bl_sl_s_ap_web_7141123011?ie=UTF8&node=7141123011&field-brandtextbin=201MPH+Club+Shirts I think these designs look a little better too. Thanks for checking it out! Quote

M20FanJesse Posted July 28, 2017 Author Report Posted July 28, 2017 Since I've gotten lots of requests for other models, I made two more. An M20k Body/231, and a Bravo long body M20k/231 Long Body/Rounded windows I'm looking to make one with a paint scheme for each body type. Please recommend which one you'd like to see and I'll try and make it! Quote
