Co-pilot brakes.

Hello, I'm new to the forum.  I owned a Mooney years ago and I'm considering buying another one.  I'm considering a few from the 1990's era.  Might anyone know what years the copilot brakes were deleted and when they reappeared?

I think you might find that copilot brakes were an option.  Often found on MSE versions (M20R MSE at least). 

Search the forum on co-pilot brakes and you will find many pieces of input.

My current plane is a 1990 MSE and it has them. My previous plane a 1980 231/Rocket 305 did not. It is not something I would pay extra for. There is not much training that goes on in Mooneys and all they do is add maintenance expense.

Co Pilot brakes are option, but there is a aftermarket kit to add them.

As I recalll, MSE = Mooney Special Edition
