Just finished my first owner assisted  annual on my M20K and learned a lot about my new bird.  The A&P/I also did the annuals on my previous C model, so was used to me hanging around and put me to work doing more than just opening her up.  I installed Gamis and did the wiring for the new JPI 730 which was a little tedious connecting all those small gauge  wires.  But everything worked prefect on the first fire up.  All in all both he and I were very pleased with N57403.  So now I am waiting for my pocket book to reload so I can add a few more features to the 730.

PS tomorrow I take her up and see how it all works.

Normally EGT and CHT wiring is not run parallel with ignition wiring. It can cause irratic readings.

Yes I agree with you, after finishing this up I saw a great installation on a Lancaire and will be rerouting the wires shortly.  Always open to learning on this forum.
