I can duplicate the problem without the engine (vacuum) running. This is a huge clue. Why not disconnect the chains on both sides and see if there's any change? If the servos are disconnected and the ailerons are still binding, you need to look elsewhere. If the binding stops, hook up one side, then the other to find the offending servo. salty Posted April 22, 2016 Author Report Posted April 22, 2016 Sorry I never responded back after this, life has been a whirlwind starting right about when I posted this originally.... Anyway, mechanic pulled the servo out and filed out a little extra space where the fitting goes and viola, no more binding! I was skeptical that it would help, visually I could barely tell a difference in the chain angle, but it seems to have resolved the problem completely. Thanks to all for contributing pics and suggestions. Life is settling down and I will be flying and talking mooney a lot more in the future!
