romair Posted August 5, 2015 Author Report Posted August 5, 2015 Those are the display lenses not the actual display...
MARZ Posted August 5, 2015 Report Posted August 5, 2015 Before you replace the displays - if the issue is with the readouts - missing segments etc - check and clean the contacts between the display and the radio - a pencil eraser works wonders
N601RX Posted August 5, 2015 Report Posted August 5, 2015 Be sure the 200vdc is present. I had a blown transistor in the hv switching power supply that kept mine from coming on. Luckily the transistor was much cheaper than the display. If I remember correctly these radios also use 2 different displays made by different manufactures. I think they require a resistor swap when swapping to the other manufactures display.
Jerry 5TJ Posted August 5, 2015 Report Posted August 5, 2015 If you search controller.com for that part number you will find several used displays for sale.
mike_elliott Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Those are the display lenses not the actual display... sorry, just trying to help. You might try the usual sources, Barnstormers, Controller, etc. and don't be afraid to call your fav. Avionics shop. They should be able to get them.
