That system is awesome! I have used 2 gallons of DI water from the store and a pesticide sprayer for the final rinse with great success. I mostly use a service these days because the amount of flying I do into bug country.  Flying my plane over farmland being pollinated by Bees and Butterfies requires a lot of elbow grease to keep it clean.

I think an all black plane would self combust where I fly! All white almost does.
