Hate to say it, but pretty much all modern airliners look about the same to me. There's one shape that works best and they're all using it. I wish the Dreamliner all the best and would love to see more airlines buying Boeings rather than Airbus. It sure is off to a rocky start.

Dave, if you saw a planform view of the 787 you might change your opinion...this one is a lot sleeker than the past airliners.  Checkout the "chevrons" on the trailing edge of the thrust reversers...that is new technology finding a home on a commercial plane for the first time.  The windows (cockpit and pax) are also much larger.


Still not as pretty as a Mooney though!
