Mcstealth Posted June 24, 2014 Report Posted June 24, 2014 Went out to the airport today and got the gossip. It seems Mr Ronnie has completely sold out and is/has retired. He is cleaning out his facility and is going to sell his hangar. A Mr Gandy has bought both Kerrville Aviation Maintenance and Dugosh and has incorporated both under one roof on the tarmac, in the hangar directly west of KERV terminal. The new company is named Gemini. The experienced Mooney AP's have gone to work with Gemini. Good luck Mr Gandy. (You and I were flight training with Scott at the same time) MAPA has relocated to KERV, and has officed up at the last hangar on the East end of the tarmac, close to the self serve station, the hangar that is physically closest to old Dugosh. The ladies in the office are happy to be in Kerrville and commented at how busy KERV seems to be. I was given two months complimentary MAPA magazines for my reading pleasure. :) The auction Acclaim is doing its flight tests and will be going to final paint very soon. The bid is up to 430,000 or so. Hope that number takes a jump soon. 2 Quote
rocketman Posted June 24, 2014 Report Posted June 24, 2014 The Dugosh story was reported in the current issue of the MAPA Log Quote

DaV8or Posted June 24, 2014 Report Posted June 24, 2014 LASAR is for sale too as Paul would like to retire as well, but they can't find a buyer I guess. Quote
scottfromiowa Posted June 24, 2014 Report Posted June 24, 2014 So McStealth is just passing on Trey's gossip Quote
scottfromiowa Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 There, I put a smiley face so's ya know I'm kidding Fantom Quote
phecksel Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 This saddens me... as does LASAR. Dugosh and LASAR were the leaders for Mooney. 1 Quote
