Fantastic write up Jonathan - I very much enjoyed reliving the trip with you!  Can't imagine the feeling you got when the good wishes were passed to you along the way - many of us were following your progress.

Very nice write up and easy to read, thanks for sharing your experience. Mooneys are indeed the best planes for this kind of challenge. They even beat cars in MPG and speed. Mooneys with long range tanks do the North Atlantic crossing without ferry tanks. Maybe you should consider it for your next long X-country, after all is a shorter distance. Keep us posted
