OR75 Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 My J still has its original brake master cylinders: Paramount VI-15-625CH One of the cylinders is leaking. i am hoping overhaul with new o-rings will take care of the leak. But just in case the cylinder is not overhaul-able, are they alternate cylinders to replace the original one ( with same footprint) Quote
N601RX Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Gerdes A-110-37 Cleveland 10-49 Cleveland 10-24D The numbers above are from memory, so check the manual. I swapped my originals out last year. If I remember correctly, they are susposed to be swapped out in sets. Quote
OR75 Posted December 8, 2013 Author Report Posted December 8, 2013 thanks. those are the P/N i came across in that parts catalog as well. I believe the cleveland 10-49 is just a rebrand of the Gerdes A-110-37 as Cleveland bought Gerdes. I figured they would need to be changed in pairs Quote
N601RX Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 Yes the cleveland and gerdes are the same cylinder. Both them and the paramount are 5/8 diameter bore. The 10-24d is a larger diameter bore, but still a drop in replacement. It also has a external spring instead of internal as the others do. Quote
jetdriven Posted December 8, 2013 Report Posted December 8, 2013 I have spare paramount cylinders if you need. They are serviceable IE guaranteed to work. 1 Quote
Pitts1e Posted April 27, 2018 Report Posted April 27, 2018 Any chance you still have the serviceable paramounts? I got one that looses pressure when slowly depressed. Trying to avoid the $1700+ kit from Lasar. Thanks 1 Quote
