MooneyMitch Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 We are considering flying the M20R to St. Paul during the last weekend in May. We will be stopping in Hood River, OR on business, then on to St. Paul, Alberta. It's been suggested we fly East from Hood River, Or to Helena, Montana, then up to St. Paul with a custom stop at Lethbrige. Any routing tips between Hood River and Helena, then up North to St. Paul would be more than welcome. Weather tips for this time of year are appreciated too. Thank you for your time and knowledge. skyking Posted May 3, 2010 Report Posted May 3, 2010 Hi Mitch: Weather at this time of year can be a little spotty around the mountains. Other than that it has been very dry here the last 2 years with little rain. One of the sayings here in Alberta is if you dont like the weather,,,,,wait a minute! We have had good flying days here for the last 2 weeks in a row with the exception of the southern part of the province. Once you you hit lethbridge it is an easy flight to Edmonton ( Cooking lake) then on to St. Paul. Looking forward to getting you and Jolie here for a visit. My offer stands,,,,you are welcome to use the RV/Guesthouse at my place as i am off that entire week and would love to show you the sights of Edmonton and the mountains. Quote
